If you have trouble keeping track of when to refill your routine prescriptions, consider the TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery automatic refill (auto refill) program, included in your TRICARE pharmacy benefit.

It's a convenient way to get your eligible prescriptions refilled and shipped to you, so you don't have to worry about running out of your medications you take regularly.

Prescription management made simpler.

The auto refill program can make it easier to stay on schedule with the medications you take regularly. You can get up to a 90-day supply for most medications shipped through TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery1. If a prescription can’t be filled, we will contact you or your provider.

• Enroll your eligible medications in the auto refill program on the Express Scripts^® Pharmacy mobile app or through your online account.
• Get an alert based on your communication preference (email, text, or phone call) when your prescription refill is due.
• Approve each refill to ensure you get only the medications you still need2.
• Track your orders and see when your medications will be delivered.
• Change your enrollment anytime, opt in or opt out when it works best for you.

Getting started is easy.

Log in to the Express Scripts® Pharmacy mobile app or your online account, click Manage Prescriptions, then select a routine medication you want to enroll in the auto refill program. You'll see the option to Start Auto Refill next to each eligible medication.

Some medications do not qualify for an auto refill; these include controlled substances, specialty medications3, and short-term allergy and pain medications.

Refill approvals are in your hands.

Express Scripts^® Pharmacy will send you a notification when it's time to refill each of your enrolled medications.

When you receive a refill notification, you must approve it before it can be shipped to you. You'll receive updates on the status of your order and when it is shipped.

If you don't act or choose Do Not Refill, that medication will be removed from the auto refill program and it will not be shipped to you. Reminders will continue until your prescription expires. You can opt in to auto refill again at any time.
