Love Your Health: Why Home Delivery Make May Sense

This Valentine's month, love the convenience and reliability of TRICARE Home Delivery. You may be able to save time by getting eligible routine prescriptions delivered safely and securely right to your door whether you’re at home, deployed, or on vacation[1]. You may receive up to a 90-day supply of your medication with free standard shipping and enjoy 24/7 access to a pharmacist.

There are multiple ways to transfer your existing, qualifying prescriptions to home delivery.

  • Through your online account, the free Express Scripts® Mobile App, or by phone at (877) 363-1303.
  • Ask your provider to submit your prescription electronically (e-Prescribe).
  • Complete and mail the home delivery order form (PDF) along with your prescription to the address listed on the form.

Home delivery for specialty drugs

Certain eligible specialty medications can be filled through TRICARE Home Delivery, which includes the specialty pharmacy, Accredo. This service offers expanded clinical support for patients with complex and chronic health conditions, and 24/7 access to personalized care and support from specialty-trained pharmacists and nurses[2]. You can contact Accredo at (877) 882-3324. To find out if you are taking a specialty medication, and if it is available through home delivery, visit the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool or view the specialty drug list.

Set up automatic refills for your medication.

Start automatic refills and we'll deliver your refills when you're ready to receive your medication. You can opt out of auto refills at any time by logging in to your account and choosing the Stop Auto Refills tab beside the medications you want to remove from auto refills. Review and approve prescriptions that are ready to refill and receive up to a 90-day supply of your medication when you fill eligible prescriptions at home delivery.
