What is a specialty medication?

Why is Accredo now an option?
Accredo is now in the TRICARE pharmacy network so that you can experience an expanded level of care when filling specialty medications and managing your medication therapy. On January 1st, 2023, Accredo will be a part of the TRICARE network offering expanded services available at no additional cost beyond the TRICARE cost-share. You may also continue to fill your specialty medication at home delivery through Express Scripts® Pharmacy, military pharmacies, and in-network pharmacies you are using today.
