Access your Explanation of Benefits Statements (EOBs) Online
An Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statement is a summary of your prescription claims and costs.1 Your EOB shows the pharmacy claim amount, the amount that was paid by TRICARE, and the amount owed (if applicable).2 With your EOB statement, you can review your prescription claims, understand your medication costs, and realize the benefits of your TRICARE pharmacy plan.
You can choose how you want to receive your EOB – by email, text, or mail. If you do not choose to receive your EOB by text or email, you will receive your EOB by mail every three months by default. You can view your statements online anytime by logging in to your Express Scripts account.
To receive your EOB statements by email or text:
- Log in to your online account.
- Visit Account in the top menu and select Communication Preferences.
- Choose your preferred communication method.
By choosing email or text delivery for your EOB, you will be notified as soon as your statement is available to view online. You will receive monthly emails or texts linking to your online EOB statements.
Electronic EOBs can provide greater security by reducing the risks of mail fraud and identity theft. Since your online account is password protected, only you can access your information.
