Active duty service members have a zero-dollar copayment with Home Delivery

Portrait of an Army man

As an Active duty service member (ADSM), you can fill your prescription at any military pharmacy, retail network pharmacy, or through the TRICARE Home Delivery Pharmacy Program with a $0 copayment.

Home Delivery offers convenience for the active duty military lifestyle. We support your mission– and proudly deliver your medication to your location with no standard shipping costs.

Home Delivery can benefit you if:

You regularly take prescriptions

If you’re taking a daily medication for a chronic condition like diabetes, Home Delivery is right for you. Home Delivery allows you to order a 90-day supply of your medication. We’ll deliver your medication to your door, so you can stay mission ready.

Some medications require a Prior Authorization or a Medical Necessity form to be filled out by your doctor prior to your medication being filled. This information can be found by searching your medication on the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool.

You forget to order your prescription

Do you struggle with forgetting to order and pick up your prescriptions? Home Delivery offers automatic refills for your prescriptions. Two weeks before the refill date, we will ask you to confirm the prescription to be mailed. Once we receive your consent, your refill will be processed and mailed to you.

You frequently relocate

We understand relocation can be constant for you and your family. The last thing you want to worry about is finding a nearby pharmacy in a new environment. If you move, you can change your mailing address in seconds and your medications will be delivered to your new address. Simply update your delivery address through the Express Scripts mobile app, online, or by phone.

You enjoy saving time and money

Getting your medication delivered can make life easier for your family. No longer do you or your spouse have to drive to a pharmacy or wait in line. You can spend more time doing what you love with those you love.

Remember, only Active duty service members get medication at no cost. Non-active duty service members have a copayment but save money with Home Delivery compared to a retail pharmacy.

The Deployment Prescription Program (DPP)

When you're deployed, you can fill prescriptions and get refills though Home Delivery with the Deployment Prescription Program (DPP).

When you enroll in the DPP, you won’t have to worry about getting your medication and refills while you’re deployed. You can count on your maintenance medication being delivered to you.
