Vaccines

Your TRICARE pharmacy benefit covers age-appropriate doses of vaccines as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). You and your covered family members can receive covered vaccines for free at participating network retail pharmacies when administered by a pharmacist. If another type of provider gives you a vaccine at a participating pharmacy, you may have to pay out-of-pocket costs. Before you go, be sure to contact your pharmacy to confirm that the vaccine you need is available. Your TRICARE pharmacy benefit offers you and your covered family members multiple options to get vaccinated.

  • Network retail pharmacies. Visit esrx.com/findapharmacy to find network retail pharmacies near you.
  • Military immunization clinic. Find a military hospital or clinic that offers vaccinations.
  • Civilian and TRICARE-authorized providers. Contact your provider or see a TRICARE-authorized provider at a participating network clinic. If you choose one of these options, you may have a copayment or cost-share for the visit, or other services received during the office visit. These costs vary based on your TRICARE health plan.
